1000 revolutions offers up to 50 local adults of all ages – students, musicians, community members, aspiring & professional performers – the opportunity to train & work with the company. Participants can take part in performance, artistic, technical & stage management roles, working alongside Periplum’s professional crew in this innovative & interactive theatre trail.

Music – We have worked with local professional musicians and community music groups, including 18 musicians from Key Changes, part of the Islington Music Forum, using music as a positive force for people whose lives have been affected by mental health issues.

Performance – Participants will have the chance to develop skills in physical theatre, ensemble choreography, interactive, promenade, invisible & surround performance. You can join the Periplum team to bring epic scale to the action which takes place in and transforms everyday social environments.

Taking part in Periplum’s work has been a transformative & fulfilling experience for many participants across the UK & internationally, leading to real exchange between the company and local communities and leaving an ultimately celebratory legacy.
