The Bell offers an exciting opportunity for up to 15 local people of all ages – students, community members, aspiring & professional performers – to take part in this intense large-scale theatrical spectacle.

Participants train & work with the company, developing skills in physical theatre, ensemble choreography, interactive & surround performance. Handling fire torches and large banners, participants work as a team to bring epic human scale to the action, moving through and around the audience.

Taking part in The Bell has been a transformative & fulfilling experience for many participants across the UK & internationally, leading to real exchange between Periplum and local communities and leaving an ultimately celebratory legacy.
