Formed in 1999 by Damian Wright & Claire Raftery, Periplum believe in visual performance that leaps with the imagination of its audience. Whether detailing the delirium of a fevered mind or the vast workings of a social revolution, we seek to offer rare and extraordinary experiences in the belief that theatre can make magic happen.

From the arts centre to the park, whether site-specific or on the street, we seek a unique new theatrical language. In this pursuit we commission composers and designers and look to stretch the actor to the limits of expression, placing equal importance on all elements of performance.
